An Early Fall Wedding at Troutbeck



A very New England (very sailing-coded) beginning brings us to the Hudson Valley. A chic celebration blended with a little bit of adult summer camp ; - ) Everyone staying on property, settling in, and creating memories as they send you into this next chapter.


The wedding day, photographed from the quiet beginning through the very end of the party. Getting ready with your closest friends. The little things happening in every corner. Family photographs you'll keep forever. Proper portraits of the two of you. And, once everyone hits the dance floor, glamorous flash photography to frame the party + chaos — and that inevitable transition from buttoned-up to partying late.


The lived-in moments, the funny ones, and everything in between. Documentary style coverage captured on medium format, 35mm, and digital woven together throughout. Photographs that feel fun, emotionally observant, and completely yours.

In the months leading up, we'll get to know each other through creative calls, questionnaires, shared mood boards + plenty of back-and-forth about what you're dreaming up. By the time we get to Troutbeck, we'll know your people, your priorities, the photographs you care about + all the little ideas we've cooked up together — so you two can actually be at your wedding instead of thinking about the photography.

For a slower start to the day, a late-night after-party, or simply a little more room in the timeline. Additional coverage can be added as the weekend takes shape.

2nd Story Studio's approach is rooted in documentary. We combine our love of fashion+editorial with our cinematic background to transform real moments into legendary stories worth retelling. As artists, we see ourselves as your visual collaborators,  and pride ourselves in blending in cohesively as a unit.


What's next? This proposal is live for seven days. To reserve your weekend, select your preferred collection, sign the agreement, and submit the 30% retainer. In the months leading up to the celebration, you’ll complete a detailed questionnaire and we’ll begin our visual and creative planning together : - )
